lan hikari from the manga

Have anyone notice(if read the manga)that the Lan Hikari from the manga is kind of diferente from the game and the anime,in his personality i mean,in the games and the anime his jolly and always wantto have fun,but in the manga,to me,his stuborn,proud,rude and with a little delinquent air, he drives ms. Mari insane.Correct me if its just my inmagination,anyway its one of the reasons i love lan and megamans personality in the manga better.
